Our First Flight in Mexico!

We met the airport manager Miguel Angel Villalobos for the Carborca Municipal Airport, a smooth dirt strip west of town. He was curious to see us fly a model. We camped there, which was very safe because of the full-time police guard.
Regarding these posts, it’s been getting more difficult to find decent internet connections, and as we are now heading to the interior, we anticipate these difficulties to increase. Thus, updates may come in larger intervals.

Der erste Flug in Mexiko!

Wir trafen den Flugplatzchef des Caborca Platzes, der eine ebene und harte Sandpiste hat. Er wollte unser Modell fliegen sehen. Wir haben dort übernachtet, was wegen der Polizeiwache sehr sicher war.
Es wird langsam schwieriger gute Internetanbindung zu finden. Wir fahren jetzt ins Binnenland und nehmen an, daß es dort noch schwieriger werden wird. Weitere Updates werden also wahrscheinlich etwas länger dauern.

¡Primer Vuelo en México!

Conocimos a Miguel Ángel Villalobos, Administrador del Aeropuerto Municipal de Caborca, una pista pequeña en la parte occidente del pueblo. El tenia curiosidad por ver volar un aeromodelo. Acampamos en el aeropuerto, lo cual fue muy seguro gracias al servicio de policía de vigilancia que tienen.
Ha sido mas difícil de lo que creíamos el conectarnos por Internet y ahora que vamos para el interior anticipamos una mayor dificultad; por lo tanto, nuestras noticias podrían ser mas esporádicas.
